SACRAMENTO — California AB369, the bill to rein in Fail First or “step therapy” practices by insurance companies, was vetoed by Gov. Brown. The bill would have put power back in the hands of doctors and patients, allowing them to overrule unnecessary and potentially harmful insurance company-mandated medication swaps.
If you have a moment, please contact Gov. Brown by phone or online and let him know we’re disappointed that he didn’t sign this bill designed to protect patients.*
